amous release 4.23.0

A.C.

Sep 3, 2026

Centralized Dispatch is here - one board that brings your trips and your available drivers together, with layouts you arrange and save, load search straight from a driver, and geofence zone color coding. This release also upgrades the Available Drivers board with new columns and manual future availability, protects you from duplicate carrier invoices, and adds a search bar and out-of-service colors to your fleet maps.

Centralized Dispatch Is Here

Centralized Dispatch is now available. It brings your trips and your available drivers together on a single board, so dispatchers can run the whole operation from one place instead of moving between screens.

You will find it in Main Menu > Centralized Dispatch. Arrange the board vertically, horizontally, or in tabs with resizable sections, and save your setup as named views you can switch between. From an available driver you can search for the loads that match without rebuilding the filter each time, act on a row with inline buttons that follow the load's status, filter by branch or number of stops, and read your geography at a glance as locations are tinted by geofence zone.

This release adds an Additional Filters panel - add filter and sort fields beyond the standard form and save them into your filter sets - along with sorting by geofence zone color, by origin and destination zone on the dispatch board and by last known location on Available Drivers.

Available Drivers: New Columns and Sorting

We have added Login ID and Driver Comment columns to the Available Drivers board, both filterable, and the Driver Status column can now be sorted. The Driver Comment comes from the driver profile and can be updated straight from the board, so notes stay current without opening each profile.

Available Drivers: Set Future Availability Manually

We have made a driver's future availability editable by hand. When plans change and the system's projection is no longer right, a dispatcher can set the driver's future availability location and date directly from the Available Drivers view, entering the location as City, State.

Carrier Invoice Number Validation

We have added duplicate invoice protection for carriers. When you enter a carrier invoice number that already exists for that same carrier, Amous warns you and tells you which trip the existing invoice belongs to - so the same invoice is not paid twice.

Carrier Contracts: Customer Rate Distance Override

We have added a Customer Rate Distance Override to carrier contracts, letting you bill the customer on a different distance than the one used for the carrier. When the contract is selected on an order, the override applies to the customer rate only and is held there, while the carrier rate keeps the original trip distance.

The field is also included in the carrier contracts import, so you can set or update it in bulk.

Fleet Map: Location Search

We have added a search bar to the fleet maps. Enter an address, city, or zip code and the map zooms to that location and drops a temporary pin, so you can check coverage in an area without hunting for it manually.

Fleet Map: Out of Service Status and Colors

We have made equipment status readable at a glance on the fleet map. Out of service reasons can now carry a color, and each unit's icon on the map takes the color of its status. Opening a geofence location or a group of trailers also shows OOS or NA next to the trailer number when a unit is out of service or unavailable.

Your Amous Admin sets the colors on the out of service reason options.

Auto-Assign Trailer to Driver Profile

We have made automatic trailer assignment configurable. You can now choose whether a trailer assigned to a trip is also assigned automatically to that driver's profile, instead of it always happening.

Your Amous Admin sets the preference; it remains switched on by default.

UI & Reporting Updates

  • The Trailer Tracking tab on the Trailer Profile now supports a configurable column order.

  • The Fleet Trailer audit now records the Home Base field.

  • Dispatch Board Quotes reports can now include branch (customer) as a reportable field.

  • The Check In button on the driver mobile app can now be hidden by configuration.
