amous release 4.21.0

A.C.

Aug 5, 2026

This Amous TMS update adds a conditional fuel surcharge for vendor deadhead miles, automatic trip document retrieval from Dayton Freight, Estes, and Old Dominion, and richer fleet records with driver employment history and new Fleet Truck fields. Behind the scenes we are also building Centralized Dispatch - a single board that brings your drivers and trips together - arriving in an upcoming release.

Coming Soon: Centralized Dispatch

We are building Centralized Dispatch - one board that brings your drivers and your trips together, so dispatchers can see the whole operation in a single place instead of moving between screens.

The idea is simple: every driver on one board, showing where they are now, where and when they become available next, and what they are running. Locations are color-coded by geofence zone so you can read your geography at a glance rather than scanning city names, dates like Next Stop and ETA are searchable and sortable so you can line drivers up by when they free up, and a compact view fits far more drivers on screen at once.

We have already delivered a significant part of this work and Centralized Dispatch will be rolled out in upcoming releases.

Shared Accessorials: Fuel Surcharge on Vendor Deadhead Miles

We have added a conditional fuel surcharge for Fleet Vendor deadhead miles. You can now apply a shared accessorial to a vendor and set a Free Miles threshold, so the first stretch of empty miles is excluded from fuel pay and only the miles beyond it are paid.

Add it in the Fleet Vendor Rating tab - open the new Shared Accessorials section, click +, select the shared accessorial, and enter Free Miles > Done. Leave Free Miles blank to pay fuel on all empty miles; if a trip's empty miles are below the threshold, no fuel miles are paid.

Driver Employment History

We have added an Employment History section to the Driver Profile, so you can record a driver's previous employers with company name, start and end dates, and comments - keeping past employment on file alongside references.

You will find it in the Driver Profile, just before the References section.

Fleet Truck: Color, Value, and IRP Number

We have added new Fleet Truck fields - Truck Color and Truck Value with its currency in Primary Details, and IRP Number on the Registration page - for more complete equipment records.

Fleet Driver and Vendor Contacts: Fewer Required Fields

We have removed the required fields from Fleet Driver and Vendor contacts, so you can record as much or as little contact detail as you need without being blocked by fields that don't apply.

Carrier Documents over API: Dayton Freight, Estes, and Old Dominion

We have extended our Dayton Freight, Estes Express, and Old Dominion (ODFL) integrations to retrieve trip documents directly from the carrier over the API, so paperwork lands in Amous without chasing it down. If you would like any of these integrations set up, please reach out to your Amous Representative.

UI & Reporting Updates

  • Customer and carrier rate tables can now show the Contract Rate name column, not just the Contract name.

  • Historical Trips and Orders reports can now include the Item Commodity Details NMFC column.
