Amous TMS has enhanced its Driver Cards to allow hiding of secondary driver details, visible by hovering over the primary driver. The Carrier Dispatch process now supports customizable default document templates at both branch and carrier levels, streamlining dispatch operations. These updates improve user experience and operational efficiency within Amous TMS.
Driver Cards: Team Drivers
We have expanded the functionality of the Driver Cards when dealing with team drivers - Users can hide the secondary driver's card - When the secondary driver's card is hidden hovering over the primary driver will display the secondary driver's name.
To see this in action the users will first need to open the Main Menu by clicking in the top left corner of the screen > Click on Driver Cards > Click on Show Team in the top right corner. If the Show Team Button is blue the secondary driver's card will be visible on the board, if the button is gray the secondary driver's card is hidden and his name will show up if users hold the cursor over the first driver's name in the driver card.
Carrier Dispatch Process: Default Dispatch Document Template
The Carrier Dispatch process was enriched with the ability to set Default Dispatch Document Template on a branch level through configs, or for individual carriers within their Carrier Profiles.
To set a default dispatch document template on the division level, Amous System Admins will need to open the Main Menu by clicking in the top left corner of the screen > Expand Configurations > Click on Carrier > Go to the Dispatch Process Tab > Select the document template from the Default Document Template Drop Down option > Click Submit
To set a default dispatch document for a specific carrier, users will need to open the Main Menu by clicking in the top left corner of the screen > Expand Views > Click on Carriers > Click on the Pen icon on the left side of the carrier that you want to edit > click on the + icon next to Terminals in the middle of the page, set the terminal as primary, put the carriers name and enter carriers address, if a terminal is present you can skip this step & click on the Dollar Coin with Arrows Icon > Dispatch type needs to be set to Email. If there is another dispatch type selected, please reach out to your System Administrator or Amous Representative to make sure that existing integrations are not going to get impacted > Select the default template from the Document Template drop-down> Click Save
